Overview

Unlike large group excursions, this private tour to Higüey offers a fully personalized and authentic experience of Dominican culture — far from the crowds and tourist traps.

You’ll travel in comfort aboard a luxury Suburban SUV, with a bilingual local guide who tailors the pace and experience to your preferences. Whether you're passionate about history, curious about local traditions, or simply want to see how Dominicans live beyond the resorts, this tour is made for you.

You’ll visit iconic landmarks like the Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia and the historic Church of San Dionisio, but also discover hidden local gems — colorful markets, street vendors, and vibrant neighborhoods most visitors never get to see.

This is more than a tour — it’s an immersive cultural journey designed for travelers who want to connect with the soul of the Dominican Republic in a private, respectful, and meaningful way.
