After departing from Osaka, travel to Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, a picturesque village renowned for its traditional thatched-roof houses.

Enjoy approximately 2 hours to explore this peaceful rural community, where many historic farmhouses remain preserved and continue to be used today. Surrounded by mountains and seasonal scenery, the village offers a glimpse into Japan's traditional countryside lifestyle.

Take a leisurely stroll through the village streets, browse local shops, stop by a café, or sample products made with the region's famous dairy products. You may also wish to visit the Miyama Folk Museum (admission not included), which recreates the interior of a traditional farmhouse and offers insight into local life from centuries past.

After approximately 90 minutes of travel, arrive in Arashiyama, one of Kyoto's most famous sightseeing districts.

Your stay includes lunch and ample free time to explore at your own pace. Enjoy an included lunch featuring tofu simmered in a delicate broth, a dish closely associated with Kyoto's culinary traditions.

After lunch, spend time discovering the area's many attractions. Stroll across the iconic Togetsukyo Bridge, walk through the famous Bamboo Grove, browse local shops selling sweets and souvenirs, or relax at one of the many cafés along the river.

For those interested in additional activities, attractions such as the Arashiyama Monkey Park (admission not included) are also available nearby.

During autumn, the surrounding mountains become covered in vibrant seasonal colors, creating one of Kyoto's most picturesque landscapes.

Autumn foliage is typically at its best from mid-November through early December.

After sightseeing, begin the journey back to Osaka.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. The tour conductor will be holding a flag and a placard with the local tour operator's logo.
