Kaymakli Underground City

The Underground hideout of early christians, Kaymaklı Underground City is totally 8-level Underground cave but first 4 levels are open for visits.
* Underground Cities are not recommended for clastrophobics because of the small tunnels between the cave sections.
Pigeon Valley

The viewpoint of Pigeon valley (4km) to see the cave dovecots all along the slopes of it. The view of the valley, Uçhisar town and the castle will in your sight.
Uchisar Castle

Devrent Valley

Derbent Valley is the site where you can see the formations of Cappadocia in different shapes and forms, not the fairy chimneys but the camel-shaped stone or mushroom-like formations.
Avanos

Avanos is the only town having a river in Cappadocia, Red River.It's famous for its pottery workshops. Almost everybody in the town is working with the terra cota of the river passing through the town.
You can have a look at the workshops in caves on the outskirts of the town and afterwards you may have a walk in the town center and taste pottery kebab in the restaurants.
Goreme Panorama

The viewpoint of Göreme town would be a good beginning for the sightseeing in Cappadocia. Initially, you can have a look at the central Cappadocia and easily see the way it got formed.
