During a 2.5-hour surf lesson, beginner surfers will learn the basic of surfing, including the proper technique of paddling, standing up, controlling the board, and riding waves.
We will start with a short theory part to learn about the waves, safety rules, and equipment. Then we warm up and go to catch waves in the ocean. Our experienced instructors will be close by and provide individual feedback and support to help you to improve your skills.
Intermediate surfers will improve their technique and increase their confidence in the water by learning about reading waves, positioning on the line-up, and sharpening the technique.
Please await for a confirmation of a lesson and an address of a surf spot if you drive by yourselves,as we adjust to the conditions and can choose another surf spot. When you arrive at the beach, you will see on the parking our cars with Filsurf stickers on it and boards on the top.

If your accommodation is located in the center of the city or in an area that is difficult to enter with our surf van because of the narrow streets or traffic we can ask you to come to the nearest meeting point which is a maximum of 600 meters from your place.
Depending on your location it can be:
1. The bus stop in the Center of Lagos "Portas de Portugal"-CTT. This bus stop is on the right hand of the central taxi station.
2. The parking of Lidl supermarket in Lagos.
