Overview

Day 1: Marrakech> Ait Ben Haddou> Ouarzazate> Zagora

This exceptional site with its buildings in red earth has been featured in many hit movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator, 7 Years in Tibet or Alexander the Great. Take the road to Zagora (about 167 kilometers away) and discover Agdz, a small village that emerges from the mountains as and as you go. Discover then an absolutely stunning view of the Draa Valley and its Oasis. Admire palm trees and out of sight in the distance, the first roofs of the kasbah of the Draa Valley, which contrast sharply in this green expanse that leaves suddenly spot in the desert of Zagora.

After breakfast swallowed, take the mountain road towards Ouarzazate. Here, discover one of the largest film studios in the world where films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Babel were boxed and do not forget to visit the well preserved Kasbah Taourirt.
