Accra
2h
After breakfast, we begin our tour of Accra, a vibrant city blending modern and colonial architecture. Our first stop is the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, dedicated to the famed Pan-Africanist.
Next, we pass by Flagstaff House, the president’s residence, followed by a visit to the newly upgraded Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, honoring Ghana’s first president. This 5.4-acre site now includes a library, conference center, synchronized fountain, mini-amphitheater, and picnic area, providing an enriching experience.
We’ll then head to the Accra Arts & Crafts Centre, where you can browse and bargain for unique local crafts—Kente cloth, sculptures, jewelry, and more—that capture Ghana’s heritage and artistry.
Finally, we visit Independence Square, where Ghana hosts national events, and take photos at the iconic Black Star Square.
