What to expect

A Taste of History & Heritage

Step back in time with this intimate small-group tour (max 8 guests). Enjoy an expert guided 2-hour tour through Ottawa’s storied streets and national landmarks. Hear the tales of the city’s most famous residents and colourful political characters, learn about the history and role of Parliament Hill, admire the elegant 19th-century architecture, and discover the hidden gems of the ByWard Market
Afterwards, you’ll be welcomed to Craig & Marie Josée’s classic downtown Victorian home for an evening of traditional Québécois food and drink. Savour a 5-course French-Canadian “souper” of seasonal comfort foods paired with wine. Typical courses include an apéritif (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), a hearty potage soup, a main course, dessert and a digestif to finish a satisfying meal. This experience blends Ottawa’s history with the timeless flavours of the Québecois.
