Koh Samui Temple Tour: Big Buddha Guanyin and Na Muang Waterfall

1. 40m
Begin your journey at Wat Plai Laem, a vibrant temple complex that blends Thai and Chinese influences. Admire the striking 18-arm statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, standing gracefully above a lotus-filled lake. Stroll around the grounds, where intricate murals and colorful shrines create a serene yet lively atmosphere, and learn about the temple’s cultural and spiritual significance from your guide.
2. 30m
Continue to Koh Samui’s most iconic landmark, Wat Phra Yai, home to the island’s 12-meter golden Buddha. Perched high on a hill, the statue glistens in the sun and offers panoramic views of the surrounding coastline. Wander the temple grounds, soak in the peaceful ambiance, and browse small souvenir shops nearby.

   20m
At Wat Khunaram, discover one of Koh Samui’s most unique spiritual sites—the preserved body of Luang Pho Daeng, known as the Mummified Monk. Sitting in a meditative position decades after his passing, his presence serves as a powerful reminder of Buddhist teachings on impermanence and mindfulness. Your guide will share stories about his life and devotion.

Next, visit the famous Hin Ta & Hin Yai, affectionately known as the Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks.
