The Abbey : Enter the abbey complex and explore the magnificent Mont Saint-Michel Abbey. Discover the Gothic architecture, chapels, cloisters, and the panoramic views from the top of the abbey, offering breathtaking vistas of the bay.

Lunch: Enjoy a traditional French lunch at a restaurant on Mont Saint-Michel or in the nearby town, featuring regional specialties like seafood dishes or cider.

After lunch, you may have some free time to explore more of Mont Saint-Michel at your own pace. Climb the ramparts for more views, visit the museums, or browse the shops selling local crafts and souvenirs.

Stand on the actual sand where American soldiers crossed under fire on the morning of June 6, 1944 — the beach depicted in Saving Private Ryan and immortalized in Band of Brothers. Your guide walks you through every sector of the landing from west to east, explaining the geography that made Omaha the deadliest beach of the entire Allied invasion. The bluffs, the draw exits, the German fortifications still visible above the sand — the landscape tells the story as powerfully as any museum. One of the great bucket list moments for any American traveler in France.

Perched on the bluffs above Omaha Beach, the Normandy American Cemetery is the most visited American military cemetery in Europe — 9,387 white marble crosses and Stars of David facing the English Channel in perfect rows across 70 acres of immaculate lawn. Your guide places the scale of the sacrifice in context before you enter, so the experience carries the full weight it deserves. The visitor center tells the individual stories behind the graves. For many travelers, this is the most moving moment of their entire trip to France.

At the end of an extraordinary day, your driver will be waiting at the agreed meeting point to bring you back to Le Havre cruise terminal comfortably and on time.
