Overview
Zhaoqing, a prefecture-level city of Guangdong, is located in the west Pearl River Delta on the north shores of the Xi River and is 110km from Guangzhou.
This 2200-year-old city is not only one of the most famous ancient cities in China, but also selected a national garden city as well as one of most attractive tourism cities in China.

Zhaoqing was known as Duanzhou in ancient times, it is an ancient city with a history of more than two thousand years. Among its new streets and shops you can find old city walls, ink stone factories, etc.
The other two main attractions today are the Duanxi inkstone workshop and Li Cun village.
Duanxi inkstones, the best inkstones in China, are carefully categorized by the mines. The workshop first make an overall introduction with the background texts, and then it makes detailed explanation with large amount of pictures and illustrations.
Li Cun village, old house in Qing Dynasty style, here you can see the old China in Qing Dynasty and appreciate the old nature and custom which wasn't impacted by modern development.
