Overview
Explore the Hajar Mountains in comfort with your own private vehicle and safari guide. Start your day with a scenic drive in a rugged 4×4 Jeep to reach the desert. After a briefing and first photo-stop will be at the Famous Fossil & Camel Rock which are unusual rock formations hidden in midst of high sand dunes. Enjoy a Picnic Breakfast in the lap of the Arabian Desert. Continue your drive to reach Hatta Heritage Village where you have free time to explore the country’s past at this open-air museum. The last stop brings you through the stony Hajjar Mountains to Hatta Dam from where you have amazing views. Later you will drive back to the City.

If you’ve ever wondered what an Emirati village was like years ago, a trip to Hatta Heritage Village is sure to cure your curiosity.
The village, restored in 2001, is one of the oldest in the emirate. Step back in time to discover the magnificent Hatta Heritage Village among the reconstructed buildings.
If you want to see what original villages in Dubai were like – take a look around here. Most of it is made from the same materials that comprised the originals, including the two watchtowers, the fort and mosque.
Hatta Water Dam

It’s part of the Hatta Mountain Conservation Reserve – the only refuge in Dubai for endangered animals endemic to the mountain environment. The reserve also holds significant historical importance with ancient pottery found in the valleys.
Drive your car along the dam, hike a bit between photo stops, and spend some time soaking up the natural beauty of the mountainous area.
