What to expect

    Pickup is just outside the Cruise Terminal in an air conditioned bus. Water and sodas are on board.

    At the park you can leave a bag with your valuables, towel, dry clothes and flip flops for after the tour on the bus. You'll meet the local waterfall guides (your Iguana Mama guide stays with you throughout), be issued a life jacket, helmet and a bottle of water for the hike up. Only waterproof cameras recommended.

    A moderate 40 minute uphill hike gets you to the 7th waterfall where your real fun begins when you jump, slide and swim your way through a series of waterfalls and canyons. Don't worry if you don't want to jump, there is always another way down. Once back down at the first fall it's about a 15-minute hike back to the visitor center for lunch and a well earned rum and coke!

    After changing into your dry clothes enjoy a delicious and varied Dominican buffet lunch. Local rum is included. After lunch we head back to port. This tour is for cruise ship passengers only.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup details

WE DO NOT HAVE TIME SLOTS. We leave port 45 minutes after your ship docks. A map and meeting point pickup details will be sent to your Viator/TripAdvisor message board. Please disembark as quickly as possible and be at the pickup location not more than 45 minutes after your ship docks.

  • It is recommended that you wear an old pair of running shoes, swimwear and a towel. We recommend women wear shorts over their bathing suits.
  • Not recommended for participants with back, neck or knee problems
  • A moderate amount of hiking is involved for 7 Waterfalls and slightly more hiking if you add Zip Lines to your adventure.
  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities and not possible for wheelchair users
  • This tour is for cruise ship passengers only
  • IMPORTANT! River conditions can change overnight. We reserve the right to amend your tour to the number of falls open on the day of the activity. If we must cancel the tour entirely due to dangerous water conditions or severe weather you will be refunded in full.
