Overview

Follow São Miguel’s rivers and waterfalls on a full-day active nature tour through some of the island’s lushest and lesser-known landscapes. Explore Cascata do Limbo, hike the Moinho do Félix trail, visit secluded Praia da Viola, discover Barragem da Fajã do Redondo and finish at Salto do Cabrito.

The day combines short hikes, forest trails, waterfalls and coastal scenery. A lunch break is included during the route: bring your own lunch or request a picnic from a local provider for €9 per person, payable directly to the provider. Please request the picnic in advance.

Travel with a local guide in a modern 100% electric van, with a maximum of 8 guests per vehicle. Some paths are uneven, muddy or slippery after rain, so a moderate level of fitness and suitable footwear are recommended.

Pick-up and drop-off are available in Ponta Delgada, Lagoa and Ribeira Grande, as well as from Ponta Delgada Airport and the Ponta Delgada Cruise Terminal.

Pick-ups begin at approximately 9:00 AM. Please be ready at the confirmed location at the agreed time. As we collect guests from different locations, your pick-up may take place up to approximately 20 minutes after 9:00 AM.
