Begin with pickup from your hotel or designated meeting point and travel to Tamarindo Beach, where your guide will provide a safety briefing and explain how to use the kayak and snorkeling equipment.
Once ready, paddle along the calm Pacific waters from Tamarindo Beach toward Captain Island. Enjoy views of the coastline and look for marine life along the way while your bilingual guide provides information about the area.
After reaching Captain Island, explore the waters around the island by kayak and then enjoy a snorkeling session near its rocky formations and reef areas. Look for tropical fish, coral formations, and other marine life beneath the surface.
After snorkeling, spend some time enjoying the surroundings before getting back in the kayaks and paddling toward Tamarindo Beach. Take in the coastal scenery and Pacific Ocean views along the return route.
The kayaking and snorkeling portion lasts approximately 2.5 hours, with the total excursion taking about 4 hours including transportation.
