Day 1: Pyramids Of Giza Memphis And Sakkara Tours

I will pick you up from your hotel, start your private Cairo day tours to visit the Pyramids of Giza. You will listen to a fascinating introduction to each of the three pyramids of Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. Then, enjoy free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), though your guide is not permitted to enter with you. And then, proceed to visit the Valley temple of Chephren. You will find that you standing in front of the great sphinx, a mythical creature with a lion’s body and a human head.
Memphis and Sakkara

Proceed to Memphis, located 20 km south of Cairo. Memphis was the first capital of Egypt. According to legend related by Manetho, the city was founded by the pharaoh Menes around 3000 B.C. Today, there is little left of the city, but you will be able to visit an open-air museum that offers a variety of interesting artifacts; like the huge statue of Ramses II and the sphinx.

On arrival, start to visit the catacombs of Kom El-Shuqqafa. It is a necropolis of 3 sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD. The catacombs merge aspects of the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman culture in its features.

Day 4: Coptic and Islamic Cairo Day Tour

I will pick you up from your hotel followed by a drive, in our air-conditioned vehicle, to Cairo.
From here you will be taken on a tour of Cairo famous Churches, including: The Hanging Church and the Church of St. George the Martyr, 2 churches built into the walls of the Fort of Babylon and its remains could be Cairo's oldest structures; and the Church of Abu Serga (St. Sergius), where, it is said, the Holy Family took shelter in a cave, with the church being erected her to commemorate this. This whole area is a world famous destination for Pilgrims.
