Overview

In 1756 the Douro Valley became the first classic wine region to be legally demarcated. Its vineyards were comprehensively classified the following year, almost a century before those of Bordeaux.
During this full-day you will live and feel the region with a wine expert, visit some of the best traditional wine producers, taste their wines, taste typical flavors in a winery and appreciate the breathtaking views from the top of the break-neck slopes.
