We begin at the iconic Piazza del Colosseo, in the shadow of the world’s most famous amphitheater, following Via dei Fori Imperiali, a grand avenue lined with the ruins of Rome’s imperial past. Along the way, your guide will share not historical facts, legends and spicy stories about the powerful—and sometimes scandalous—leaders who shaped ancient Rome.
Our path continues to Piazza Venezia, the bustling crossroads of the city, and onward to the impressive Foro di Traiano. We’ll then explore the charming Piazza della Madonna dei Monti, a lively square beloved by locals, before wandering the picturesque streets of Rione Monti, one of Rome’s oldest neighborhoods aka suburra.
