Each guest will ride a donkey, guided by the donkey owner, through olive groves from the Holy City of Moulay Idriss to the ancient roman city of Volubilis.

What to expect

Each guest will have a donkey, led by the donkey man. You will go from Moulay Idriss, through the main square, past the town park and on the mountain road, past olive groves to Volubilis.

Guests will enjoy panoramic views of Moulay Idriss, the Zerhoune mountain range and the valley surrounding Volubilis. At a slower pace of life.

Dar Zerhoune is in the heart of Moulay Idriss Zerhoune, a pedestrianised town, surrounded by mountains and only 5km from Volubilis and 20km from Meknes. Directions will be provided on booking.

Volubilis is the Roman ruins from 300 BC with incredible intact mosaics.
