From Tsagkarada, continue your adventure with a drive through lush green forests toward Mylopotamos Beach, one of the most stunning and renowned beaches in Pelion. Here, you’ll have time for a leisurely swim in the crystal-clear waters
Before returning to Volos, an optional lunch break can be arranged upon guests’ request and subject to availability, either at a traditional seaside taverna above Mylopotamos Beach or at Kala Nera Village, a charming seaside resort on the Pagasetic Gulf.

Pickup details

Once you disembark from your cruise ship at the Port of Volos, you will see the cruise line buses will be parked directly in front of the ship. Our Avalon Travel vehicles and staff will be located to the right side as you exit the ship.
Please look to your right and walk a short distance in that direction. Our team will be waiting there, holding Avalon Travel signs so you can easily identify them.

Additional information

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

  • We recommend comfortable clothes and sensible walking shoes or sneakers. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also suggested, as well as a change of clothes and a swim-suit, of course!

  • Access to Mylopotamos Beach involves descending and ascending a significant number of steps carved into the hillside
