Overview

Escape the city for a relaxed day of hot springs and waterfalls, with max 4 guests in our own premium car. Just 1.5 hours from Thessaloniki, Pozar Thermal Baths sit at the foot of Voras Mountain, where natural hot springs flow at a steady 37°C all year round. You spend around two hours in the outdoor thermal pools; private indoor pools can be arranged on request, subject to morning availability. Then we head to Edessa, the first capital of the ancient Kingdom of Macedonia, to see Greece's biggest waterfall and walk its paths, viewpoints and bridges. Lunch is not included, but your tour leader will point you to the best local spots.

    The main stop of the day. Natural hot springs where you soak in warm mineral water year-round, with a steady temperature around 37°C. It’s a proper reset: steam, rocks, forest air, and time to just shut your brain off. The baths sit below Voras Mountain at about 390m altitude, so you’re not just “in a spa”, you’re in a mountain landscape. Even if you don’t hike, the setting is a big part of the experience: fresh air, dramatic slopes, and that northern Greece wildness. Optional stop for lunch in a nearby village.

    The big visual payoff. You’ll see the famous waterfalls that make Edessa stand out, including Karanos, the biggest waterfall in Greece, often ranked among the most striking in the Balkans. Expect roaring water, mist, viewpoints, and great photos.
