Overview

Only one and half hours outside of Chengdu, escape the hustle and bustle of downtown Chengdu and visit the oldest irrigation project in the world, the only one gets preserved and still be used; meanwhile The half-day adventure hike in Mt Qingcheng takes you into the home of Tai Chi where you will witness the Taoist way of life. On the way up, you will visit Jianfu Palace and then reach the Tianshi Cave, the birthplace of Taoism. Upon reaching the summit of Qing Cheng Mountain, you will witness an incredible panoramic view.

    Dujiangyan City is famous for an immersive exploration of Chengdu’s famed UNESCO World Heritage site-Dujiangyan Irrigation Project. You will visit the famous Dujiangyan Irrigation Project which was built in 256 BC. And it still is playing an important role in the southwestern Middle Kingdom. Those ancient people were so smart and sacrificial that they were able to make a system which have been handled the problems of Water Diversion, Desilting and Flood Discharge for more than 2000 years. That is the reason why Sichuan gains the name as the Land of Abundance;
