Overview

What sets us apart is the pulse of the journey. We reject the rushed pace of standard tours, opting instead for a soulful exploration that allows you to truly connect with the land. Your adventure is led by expert storytellers like Manfred, guides who don’t just find animals but reveal the hidden narratives of the savannah. From the quiet majesty of a private sunset on the Ngorongoro rim to the adrenaline of the Great Migration, every detail is tailored by our specialist, Anneth, to match your vision.

We balance the thrill of the hunt with the luxury of the rest—think private picnics at the Hippo Pool and stays in sanctuaries like Safari Haven. Beyond the wilderness, your journey supports local mothers, ensuring that your footprint leaves a lasting, positive legacy in the community.

What to expect

Day 1: The Sanctuary of the Highlands
  1. Arusha Region
    8h
Your journey begins in the lush, emerald outskirts of Arusha. Upon arrival, you are whisked away to the Arusha Farmhouse, a colonial-style retreat nestled among fragrant coffee plantations. Breathe in the cool mountain air and settle into the quiet rhythm of Africa. Tonight is about restoration before the Great Migration calls.

    Accommodation: Arusha Farmhouse
Day 2: The Land of Giants
  1. Tarangire National Park
    8h
After a slow breakfast, you journey toward Tarangire National Park, a place where ancient Baobabs dominate the horizon and massive elephant herds roam the riverbeds. The landscape is raw and prehistoric. As the sun sets, you retreat to Jungle Pearl, a sanctuary designed to blend into the wild canopy.
Day 3: Through the Mist to the Endless Plains
  1. Serengeti National Park
    8h
After a slow breakfast, we depart between 8:45 and 9:00 AM, tracing the edge of the world. We journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, pausing for 15 minutes at the famous Crater viewpoint. Here, the air is thin and the vista is vast—a silent, sunken Eden.

By midday, we reach the Naabi Hill Gate, the threshold of the Serengeti. After a quick stretch and lunch, the raw drama begins. We dive into 1.5 million hectares of ancient wildness, tracking the Great Migration as the golden light of a sunset game drive guides us to our retreat deep within the plains.

Optional: Maasai Boma visit for a glimpse into their raw, ancient culture; Olduvai Gorge Museum; or a sunrise Balloon Safari.
Day 4: The Northern Frontier
  1. Migration at Serengeti National Park
    8h
The drama intensifies as you depart in the morning for the Northern Serengeti. This is the theater of the Great Migration. You will navigate the rugged trails leading toward the Mara River, arriving at Safari Haven Migration Luxury Camp. Here, you are perfectly positioned at the edge of the world’s most spectacular wildlife event.
Day 5: The River and the Pride
  1. Migration at Serengeti National Park
    8h
A full day dedicated to the North. Witness the raw power of thousands of wildebeest as they navigate the treacherous river crossings. It is a day of high stakes and breathtaking sightings. As the shadows lengthen, you return to the comfort of Nakupenda to reflect on the day’s intensity under a canopy of stars.
Day 6: The Serengeti Farewell and the Crater’s Rim
  1. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
    8h
The morning belongs to the endless plains. We venture deep into the Serengeti one last time, tracking the big cats as they prowl in the cool dawn light. After a thrilling morning of sightings, we head toward the Naabi Hill Gate for a refined picnic lunch amidst the wild.

Following our meal, we begin the transition out of the plains and back into the lush Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We ascend the winding forest roads to arrive at the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge in time for the golden hour. Here, you will witness a spectacular sunset from the very rim of the crater—a moment of pure luxury and stillness. After the dust of the savannah, enjoy a gourmet dinner and a much-needed rest overlooking the "Lost World" below.
Day 7: The Eden of Africa
  1. Ngorongoro Conservation Area
    8h
At dawn, we descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a sunken paradise where the "Big Five" roam a landscape frozen in time. This is raw nature at its most concentrated. After a morning of breathtaking sightings, we pause for a refined picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool, where you can dine while watching the hippos wallow in the cool waters.

Following lunch, we engage in a focused 1-to-2-hour game drive, making our final rounds through the yellow-fever acacia forests and the soda lakes. As the afternoon shadows stretch, we begin our ascent from the crater floor and journey back toward the lush greenery of the Arusha highlands, arriving at Forest Hill for a night of luxury and reflection.
Day 8: The Final Farewell
  1. 8h · Admission ticket included
After a final breakfast overlooking the highlands, you begin your journey back to Arusha. Reflect on the thunder of the hooves and the golden eyes of the lions as you prepare for your flight home. The wild soul of Tanzania stays with you long after you leave.
