Inaugurated in 1984, the venue is the stage for the most famous popular festival in Brazil, the Parade of samba schools in Rio de Janeiro, which is held annually during the Carnival holiday.

   The Cathedral of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, also known as Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio de Janeiro, is a Catholic cathedral located in the city center of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. It was inaugurated in 1979, replacing, as the city's cathedral, the Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo. In a modern style, it has a conical shape, with 106 meters in diameter, 75 meters in external height, 64 meters in internal height [1] and capacity for 20,000 people standing. The beauty of the building, of straight and sober lines, is due to the colored stained glass shattered on the walls up to the dome. Its design and execution was coordinated by Monsignor Ivo Antônio Calliari (1918 - 2005).

Pickup details

If customers are inside the covered areas, pick up will take place as long as it is guaranteed/included in the tour. This service allows the customer to be collected from their hotel before each tour.

If the clients/contractors are outside the covered pick up area, they must go to the meeting point at the nearest hotel, for these situations they must contact customer service to arrange the best meeting point.
