The search of the truffle is an art that Tuscany grandparents transmitted to future generations and that nowadays represents an indisputable cultural patrimony of a passed society bounded to the environment. Anyone who enters the door of this mysterious world has the opportunity to experience with their own eyes how to seek, prepare, and distinguish the high quality truffle from the low quality one or from the derived.
This excursion will make your stay in Tuscany a unique and unforgettable one. Just like in a fairy tale of ancient flavors, mystery, legends and anecdotes, the expert “tartufaio” will tell you about the extraordinary process through which mother nature grows and brings the truffle to the tables of the gourmets all over the world. The tour includes a gourmet lunch in a typical place in Tuscany. Afterwards, you will visit a prestigious winery in the Brunello area where you will see how the most typical Italian wines are produced.
