Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the artist Giammarco Antoci in his workshop, a living space where matter and idea meet. Here works in marble, wood, stone and ceramics are created, through a process that combines research and experimentation.
You will enter directly into the creative process by participating in a hands-on workshop : you will make a small object from the Popikō line using a special mineral blend from casting. The experience will be led by Giammarco together with Pippo, who follows the creation of the objects and accompanies the participants during the processing phases.
At the end of the workshop you can reach Marina di Ragusa with your vehicle to visit together with Giammarco the “Monument to the Shoe” and “The Gift”, or immerse yourself in nature along the Irminio river, where the “Pentecontera” and the “Casetta sull’albero” are located: installations in which art and landscape dialogue directly and without filters.
Those who wish to collect the object created during the workshop can return to the workshop with the artist; alternatively, it will be possible to receive an object created by Giammarco directly at the end of the visit, without the need to go back.
