The building showcases a stunning blend of Moorish, Indo-Saracenic, and Gothic architectural styles, making it a must-visit destination for history and architecture enthusiasts.

Situated in the heart of the city, this iconic square is where the Union Jack was lowered and the Malayan flag was hoisted for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957, marking Malaysia's independence from British rule. The square spans 8.2 hectares and is surrounded by colonial-era buildings, lush green lawns, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers, ROL stretches through the heart of the city, connecting key historical and cultural sites.

The project's primary goal is to restore the rivers' water quality and improve the surrounding environment, making it a prime spot for locals and tourists alike. The revitalized waterfront features well-designed pedestrian walkways, lush landscaping, and strategically placed lighting that creates a stunning nightscape. It is the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping.[1] Until 2010, on 31 July on Warriors' Day, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the Prime Minister, and the heads of the Malaysian Armed Forces and the Royal Malaysia Police pay their respects to the fallen heroes by laying garlands at the monument. Warriors' Day is now commemorated on Merdeka Square, after Islamic religious scholars declared the act of laying garlands before the sculpture to be idolatrous.
