What to expect

Choose between two routes to the summit of Table Mountain. Platteklip Gorge is the oldest and most direct route, making it a good option for those short on time or who prefer to avoid exposed sections. India Venster is more technical, with some scrambling and exposure, and is better suited to experienced hikers.

Along the way, your guide will share insights into Table Mountain’s unique flora, fauna and history, as well as stories of Cape Town and the Mountain. Enjoy spectacular views over the City Bowl, Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island, with plenty of time to stop for photographs and take in the scenery.

At the summit, relax and enjoy the views before making your way to the Upper Cableway Station, where you can choose to descend by cable car.
