In the historic centre of Padenghe sul Garda, on the shore of Lake Garda in Lombardy, spend two hours learning a fluid Italian approach to watercolour painting. Working in a small private atelier with no more than four guests, you are guided from a blank sheet through to a finished piece: choosing a Mediterranean subject such as sunlit landscapes, lemons or fields of poppies, then planning the composition before letting colour and water blend and settle across the paper. Step by step, the shapes are gradually brought into focus, right down to the final details. No previous painting experience is needed, and the session can be followed in Italian, English or German. All materials are provided, and you take your finished watercolour home with you at the end.
If you are coming by car, park in Via Fratelli Berretta, a large car park a short walk from the atelier, and continue on foot to Via Gramsci 16. The streets of the old centre are narrow and parking there is limited.
Once you arrive, ring the bell marked “Adriana Buggino”.
