If you love being outdoors, nature and getting up close to marine wildlife, this is the best way to enjoy it all. Escape the crowds, digital, traffic noise, replace it with tranquil peace and the joy of seeing wildlife up close in their natural habitat. No previous kayak experience is required, we are conservative with the ocean conditions we paddle out in, as we want you to have an amazing and memorable experience.

What to expect

Cape Kayak Adventures has the ideal location to launch and explore the Table Bay coastline from the sea providing wonderful views of the Mother City. We meet on Three Anchor Bay Beach, the oldest anchorage in Cape town, where you will be briefed and shown how to paddle our tandem kayaks. From Three Anchor Bay, we embark on a 3 – 4 km journey either towards Clifton or V&A Waterfront.
The views of Signal Hill, Lion’s Head, Table Mountain and the Apostles are unforgettable. Uninterrupted Mountain views, an ocean breeze or splash will leave you feeling rejuvenated and ready to see more of our beautiful City.

The trip to Granger Bay takes us past the Green Point Lighthouse, the wrecks of the Seafarer and RMS Athens and past one of the favorite hangouts for our endemic Heaviside's dolphins.

Booking is essential and all trips are weather dependent. Make sure you are contactable on the mobile number you supplied when booking. If we have to cancel, we will notify you by text or email message.

Please meet us 30 minutes before the activity starts. We have lockers for your valuables. Bring something warm and a change of clothes for after.

Please meet us on the Beach, you can park at the Three Anchor Bay Parking lot ( next to the mini golf or Putt-Putt park) and walk down the Slip-way to the Beach. Cape Kayak Adventures will be on your left.
