Overview
Departure from Tivat, Kotor or Budva as discussed. A short stop above the memorable view of Jaz beach and the open Sea. Passing through
Budva, with a stop above the peninsula St. Stefan followed by the arrival in Virpazar, where will be 2-3 hours of free time.
This free time may be used with 1-2 hour boat rides on the lake. The remainder of the free time may be used to enjoy
traditional food in the restaurants surrounding the Lake.

Lake Skadar

Lake Skadar is the largest freshwater area in Southeast Europe, belonging to both Montenegro and Albania. It is located 30
km away from Podgorica and 70 km away from Tivat. Skadar Lake is the largest cryptodepressioin in the Balkan region (its
surface is above sea level, and the bottom is below sea level). The average depth of the lake ranges from 4-7 m. The flooded
holes are the deepest point of the lake, measuring at 30 m, and can surpass 60-80m in depth. Filled with the beautiful nature
and numerous historical monuments, the Montenegrin side of Lake Skadar was named a national park on November 27th 1983.
The main attraction of this Lake is its symbol, the pear-shaped pelican that attracts numerous ornithologists every year.
