Day 1: Imlil - Sidi Chamharouch - Toubkal Refuge

This trek starts in Imlil (1740m), about 65 kilometers south of Marrakech, where you will meet your team, who will take care of you during the 2 days. The muleteers take care of your luggage and we will leave in 30 minutes We will go through the Berber villages and the sacred shrine of Sidi Chamharouch (2400m), where we will enjoy the picnic lunch. After a break we continue our climb to Refuge Toubkal at 3207m above sea level.

Day 2: Trek to Summit of Mount Toubkal Imlil Marrakech

Today we have to get up early in the morning, have breakfast and start the climb.We walk slowly, step by step, to the place above the refuge, where we will take a break.After 3 to 4 hours of climb, we arrived at the top to Toubkal.The effort is rewarded as we have a clear view of all the High Atlas.You have enough time to admire the magnificent view and to take photos.
When we returned to Toubkal Refuge after the descent, we enjoy lunch and then we take the same way to return to Imlil. The driver is already waiting for you to take you back to Marrakech

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
To do this trek, you can be in good physical condition, but efforts will be rewarded. Good walking shoes are mandatory, optional walking sticks sleeping bag
During winter, crampons and snow peaks (10 € per person) will be required. Your guide will take care of the terms of this rental.
