This unique site also reflects the period when Uyuni once enjoyed significant economic prosperity.
  2. Colchani
    1h
Colchani, known as the gateway to the Uyuni Salt Flats, is a small town along the route that you’ll visit during the tour. Here, you’ll find the Salt Museum and the refinery, where you can learn about how salt is processed. Before continuing your journey, take some time to explore the local artisan shops, where handmade products crafted from alpaca wool and salt are available.
  3. 1h
12:00 PM - Now it’s time to head into the Salt Flats! You’ll visit the salt piles, the “Ojos del Salar,” and the Playa Blanca Museum, a unique structure built entirely from salt blocks. You’ll also have time to explore the island at your own pace, walking along its trails and, if the weather allows, enjoying lunch at the base of the hill.
