Your adventure begins with a 4:00 AM pickup from your Kigali hotel by a professional driver-guide from Vazquez Tours & Travel. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park, taking in Rwanda’s famous “Land of a Thousand Hills.”
On arrival, meet your trekking guide, receive a safety briefing, and join a small group of up to eight trekkers. The trek can take 90 minutes to several hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once you find them, enjoy one unforgettable hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat while maintaining a respectful distance.
After trekking, return to the trailhead and head to Silverback Restaurant in Musanze for a well-earned lunch. Afterwards, relax on the drive back to Kigali, with drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
