Overview
This safari package will give you an exciting opportunity to visit the most beautiful parks in the northern Tanzania. This includes visiting the endless plains of Serengeti National Park where you will be able to see all the big five. You will also visit Tarangire National park which is famous for a huge population of elephants and also the Ngorongoro Crater which is locally known as the garden of animals where there is a big chance to spot the big five in one day. This is a group safari and provides you with an opportunity to interact with people from different parts of the world.
In this option, you will stay in public campsites, located inside (For Serengeti / Ngorongoro) or outside the park ( For Lake Manyara / Tarangire). Accommodation will be in waterproof 2-person-tents with built-in mosquito nets at the entrances and windows. The dome tents will be pitched overnight at the public campsite and packed in the morning. What to expect
Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Pick up from your hotel at 8:30 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoy full day game drive with picnic lunch. The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African National Park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park- Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy early breakfast and meet your guide to have a last morning game drive in Serengeti National Park then depart to Ngorongoro Conservation area with en-route game drive and picnic lunch. Ngorongoro is a special conservation area and not a National Park. The whole area is managed for both animals and local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater (7 hours game drive) to Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the crater, enjoy 5 hours game drive in the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.
Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
