Guided tour exploring the white city of Ostuni, with its panoramic views of the Apulian olive groves and the Adriatic coast.
We will start to tour in Via Cattedrale, one of the most important streets of Ostuni old town centre, where many noble palaces are located.
A stop in front of the Archaeological Museum of Ostuni to learn about the origins of the city; then visit of the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta, an interesting example of the Apulian tardy-Gothic style. We will admire the facade, with its religious symbology.
We will walk along the city walls which are still existing, enjoying a fantastic panorama.
The tour will end in Piazza della Libertà where are situated the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi, the City Hall and the Statue of Sant’Oronzo, one of the Patron Saints of Ostuni.
Tourists are required to be on time otherwise the tour could be shortened. Any change must be agreed with the tour guide in advance
