Overview
The name of two small villages in Parma countryside, Busseto and Roncole, has been made great by Giuseppe Verdi, the immortal opera composer who was born in these neighborhoods in 1813. An exclusive guided tour will go cross these simply charming surroundings, where thematic museums lie "Casa Barezzi" have been established to celebrate the artist and his music. This Medieval castle, belonged to the Pallavicino family, has been almost entirely reconstructed in Neogothic style between 1857 and 1868. Nowadays, it hosts the City Hall of Busseto and the Neoclassic "Giuseppe Verdi" Theatre.

The Museum "Casa Barezzi" is dedicated to Antonio Barezzi, Verdi's father in law, and is hosted in the house where he used to live and where the famous composer held his first public performance.
