Tusker's private climbs are customized to meet your specific needs & your time tables. We've led every route, so you can choose from any of our listed routes or ask about our unlisted routes!

Special meals? We can provide custom vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free menus.

Base Marangu Route

Bristol Cottages Hotel, Moshi: Your driver whisks you away to the enchanting Bristol Cottages Hotel in Moshi, your home base for the next two nights.
The base route is Marangu: The private climb provides the climber the option of our Marangu route or for added fee one of our Listed or unListed routes.
Premium Service: Tusker Trail provides a premium class of service for all our routes. Culinary Trained Mountain Chefs, Top-of-Line XL Tents.
Duration: 8 days: The total trip duration depends on the chosen customized route, and the desired length of stay on the mountain.
Custom Menus: Tusker Trail's mountain chefs are trained by the Culinary Institute of America and are happy to prepare customized meals.
Base Route is Marangu: The base route is Marangu - For Added Fee: You can choose Any of our Routes and Length of stay option that is one of a kind.

After Climb Safari or Zanzibar: Safari the Serengeti Plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara or explore the culinary mystique of Zanzibar.
Duration: 16 days: Selecting a customized route, you can extend your time on Kilimanjaro to as long as you desire.
Upgraded Personalized Meals: If you want a specialized cuisine on your climb, we can work with you to create a specialized menu on your adventure.
Create a Customized Route: You'll work with Owner/Guide Eddie Frank to design a custom route to leave you with a once in a lifetime experience.

We have been greeting and guiding climbers in Tanzania for 46 years. When you arrive in Tanzania we take care of you from the moment you step off the plane. You will be greeted at the airport and taken to one of our delightful family owned hotels where you will stay before and after the climb.
