Overview

A walk through Giverny is like stepping into one of Claude Monet's paintings. On this self-guided walking tour, you'll explore the quiet village paths that inspired some of the most iconic artworks in history.

Starting at the Fondation Monet, you'll discover the Clos Normand garden and legendary lily pond, whose arched Japanese bridge inspired the Nymphéas. Along the way, hear how a caricature artist from Le Havre became the father of Impressionism, shaping his gardens not just as a gardener but as a painter working in three dimensions.

You'll visit the Ancien Hôtel Baudy — once the hangout of Renoir and Cézanne — and pay your respects at Monet's grave, before ending at Église Sainte Radegonde de Giverny.

PLEASE NOTE: Entry isn't included. You'll need to buy a separate entry ticket.
