Besides learning how to cook Thai Food and Akha Food, you will learn and experience the different culture of Thai and Akha, also learn the history of Thailand through food. In our Morning Class we will take you to the Local Market to see the real lifestyle of local people where you can all the same produce, at all different prices. We call this “same same, but different”! At the Local Market, you will be treated like a local person, no special treatment to gain profit for tourists here! Thai markets are very different from western markets, so get ready for some interesting experiences.

It’s cooler in the evening, actually a much better time to be cooking. The kitchen is an outdoor set up with a mix of Thai-Akha culture atmosphere. The dining room with air-conditioning. Relaxing and easy chill-out place.

Pickup details

• You can also get picked up from your hotel in Chiang Mai town.
• The exact pick-up time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking.
• Please plan to meet your driver at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes late or after we have moved from your hotel, you may be considered a no-shows
