Experience the wilder side of Chiang Rai on a full-day trekking tour that combines mountain trails, local culture, bamboo cooking, hill tribe communities, a waterfall swim, Pha Soet Hot Springs, and hotel transfer in one rewarding day.
Start with pickup from your Chiang Rai hotel and travel to the area near Pha Soet Hot Springs. Trek 10–12 kilometers with a local guide through bamboo groves, tea plantations, mountain paths, and areas connected to Lisu, Chinese, Akha, and Lahu hill tribe communities. The 5–6 hour route offers a moderate challenge at a comfortable pace with breaks along the way.
Deep in the forest, stop to prepare lunch the traditional way. Your guide will show you how fresh ingredients are placed inside bamboo tubes, sealed, and cooked over an open fire. Once ready, enjoy a warm bamboo-cooked lunch surrounded by mountain air and jungle scenery.
Continue to a waterfall for a refreshing swim before heading to Pha Soet Hot Springs, where you may relax in the warm pools after the trek. Afterward, return to Chiang Rai with a final sense of calm, accomplishment, and connection to the northern landscape.
Hotel pickup is available from hotels in the Chiang Rai city area at approximately 08:00 AM. The exact pickup time will be confirmed by email after booking. Please wait in your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may be considered no-shows.
