Overview
Coba is a jungle-covered Maya city and home to Nohoch Mul, one of the tallest pyramids on the Yucatan Peninsula. With a SECTUR-certified local guide, you explore the site along its ancient white roads by bike or traditional Maya tricycle taxi, at your own pace.
Next, cool off with free time to swim in a cave cenote. The day ends with a traditional lunch prepared by a local Maya family in a nearby community, and your visit directly supports local families.
The tour is private, so you set the pace and can adjust the day to your interests. Our founder, Diego Viadero, guided travel writer Rick Steves and his family through Chichen Itza and Coba, a trip Rick featured on his travel blog.
