Overview

Explore the Dinosauria Park and Cretaquarium on a full-day trip from Rethymnon areas. See over 50 different species of dinosaurs, statues, and robotic exhibits, and learn about the marine fauna of the Mediterranean region.

Start your day with a visit to the Dinosauria Park, located in Gournes on the Old US Base. Walk through the park and pass by the fossil museum, the time machine, the dinosaur hospital, and the special excavation sites.

Watch augmented reality movies in the specially configured 5D Cinema and also in the simulators with VR masks. Let your kids play in the large, outdoor certified (TUV) playground, and enjoy a snack at the well-organized snack bar/restaurant.

Next, visit the Cretaquarium, the first large aquarium in Greece. See sea organisms from over 250 species in more than 60 tanks. Explore the marine fauna of the Mediterranean region and learn about the marine life of Crete.
