People from Kolkata and different parts of India gathers here for their books. The street is also dotted with countless very small book kiosks which sell new and old books.

In case of heavy showers, your guide will adjust the route to utilize covered verandas, historic building interiors, and cozy local tea stalls to keep you comfortable.

Accessibility Note: Due to the historic nature of the older neighborhoods, uneven footpaths, and high curbs, this specific walking route is unfortunately not wheelchair or stroller accessible.
