Overview

On this tour, your group will be the sole and exclusive participant. You will receive your guide's undivided attention. This is a strictly private tour: I never combine bookings. You will only travel with the people you choose.

Follow in the footsteps of the New Zealanders on the Somme with a local, experienced guide. We've been conducting expert battlefield tours of the Western Front for over 16 years, ensuring you a truly unique and insightful experience.

All our tours are private and can be fully tailored. This means your group will be the only participants on the tour, ensuring an exclusive and personalized experience just for you.

To ensure a truly personalized experience, please let us know in advance if you have any special interests or specific sites you wish to visit, including any locations connected to family members who served during the war. I'm happy to tailor the tour to your preferences.

The cemetery contains numerous New Zealand graves and serves as the memorial for those New Zealanders who died in the area and have no known graves.
  6. 20m
The memorial, erected on a ridge overlooking High Wood and Delville Wood, honors the New Zealand Division's contribution to the Battle of the Somme.
