Who will catch the first fish?
Ice fishing is a traditional Finnish experience the whole family can enjoy. Sit comfortably on a reindeer skin as your guide drills a hole through the thick ice right in front of you. Warm up with a hot drink by the fire while you wait for a bite from perch or other freshwater fish.
Just picture it: you’re sitting above several meters of frozen water, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Arctic wilderness. If you’re lucky and a fish is caught, your guide can prepare it into a simple, delicious snack right there on the ice.

Your pick-up time will be confirmed via email from Apukka Resort (the activity provider) within 48 hours of booking. Please make sure you open and read this email!
We offer two pick-up points:
Rovaniemi City Center: at address Korkalonkatu 23, pickup time 50 min before activity starting time.
Santa Claus Village: The bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road, E75, pickup time 35 min before activity starting time.
