Overview

A reindeer sleigh ride offers a glimpse into Lapland’s past. Glide quietly through the snowy landscape, wrapped up in a comfortable sleigh, as the wilderness stretches around you. In the distance, a remote hut awaits, where your guide builds a fire and serves hot drinks and local reindeer sausages as you settle in and listen to stories about traditional life in the Arctic. With a bit of luck, the Northern Lights may appear overhead. This experience is ideal for those looking to slow down and enjoy the calm of the Arctic.

What's included

  • Hot drink & local reindeer sausage (vegetarian/vegan option available on request)
  • Transfers (if needed, from Rovaniemi city center or Santa Claus Village to Apukka Resort and back)
  • Winter clothing (thermal overall, thermal boots, woolen socks, mittens)
  • Guiding
  • Reindeer sleigh ride

What to expect

Look up and take in the Arctic night—twinkling stars, drifting snow, and if luck is on your side, even the Northern Lights. Sit back and enjoy a memorable sleigh ride as the reindeer guide you through the quiet winter landscape.
