   Upon your arrival in Beijing, our guide will meet you at train station exit by holding the board with your name and then board the private car.
3. Mutianyu Great Wall

   Today we will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.

   On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures.

Day 2: Beijing – Shanghai by Bullet Train (Breakfast )

1. Tiananmen Square

   At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First, we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years.
2. The Palace Museum

   Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City(closed on every Monday), one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex built with wood. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.
3. Temple of Heaven

   After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
4. Summer Palace

   Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace. It locates at the west skirt of Beijing and covers an area of 290 hectare. In the Qing Dynasty during the Qianlong Era, the Summer Palace was built by copying the layout of the West Lake in Hangzhou. Now it is the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.
5. Beijing

   After the tour you will be escorted to Beijing South Railway station for your afternoon train back to Shanghai.

   Please make your way back to your home/hotel.

• Forbidden City is closed on Mondays. We will adjust the visiting order if necessary. But we promise you will visit all the sites listed in itinerary.
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• You will be contacted at least one day ahead of the travel day via email to advise the pickup info. The tour guide will also call you or leave you a message through your hotel room the night before tour about pickup time.
• Offered pickup/drop-off service is available for hotels within inner ring road of Shanghai city. If your hotel beyond the range, please expect it might occur additional transfer fee accordingly.
