Day 1: Beijing (Lunch)

1. Dingling Underground Palace

   At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel in Beijing city area. First, we will drive to visit Dingling Tomb, the tomb of Emperor Shenzong, Zhuyijun, who reigned 48 years, the longest among all Ming emperors.
2. Mutianyu Great Wall

   After then we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.
3. Beijing

   On the way back to city area, we will make a stop at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube to pay an outer visit and take some pictures.
4. Beijing

   Today you will also pay a visit to the Jade Carving Factory to learn about Chinese jade culture and appreciate some exquisite jade artworks. After visiting, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Beijing city area.

Day 2: Beijing (Lunch)

1. Tiananmen Square

   At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First, we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world.
2. The Palace Museum

   Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.
3. Temple of Heaven

   After lunch, we will pay a visit to Temple of Heaven. Located in southern part of Beijing, it serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
4. Summer Palace

   Today’s last stop will be Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.
5. Beijing

   Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Market to learn about traditional Chinese pharmacy and meet many kinds of herb medicine. After the tour, you will be escorted back to hotel.

Pickup details

Hotel pickup is available for hotels within 3rd ring road of Beijing city. If your hotel beyond the range, please come to a downtown place to meet tour guide (please ask supplier the meeting place) or you can pay additional charges for it.
