Day 1: Beijing

1. Tiananmen Square

   At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. First, we will take a walk on the Tiananmen Square, the heart and symbol of Beijing and the largest city square in the world.
2. The Palace Museum

   Then you will pay a visit the Forbidden City, the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City.
3. Mutianyu Great Wall

   After lunch(at your own expence), we will drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. 90% of the Great Wall here is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. If hiking is too much for you, cable car is available and optional.

Day 2: Beijing

1. Temple of Heaven

   At 08:00 our guide and driver will greet you at your hotel. Today’s first stop will be Temple of Heaven which serviced as a complex of sacrificial building where Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
2. Summer Palace

   Then you will pay a visit to Summer Palace, the largest and most completely preserved imperial garden in China.
3. Hutong Tour

   At last you will take a walk through Hutong to see daily life of local people.

Pickup details

Hotel pickup is available for hotels within 3rd ring road of Beijing city. If your hotel beyond the range, please come to a downtown place to meet tour guide (please ask supplier the meeting place) or you can pay additional charges for it.

• Due to uneven surfaces on Great Wall, this tour is not recommended for those using a wheelchair
• Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes
• Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
• You will be contacted at least one day ahead of the travel day via email to advise the pickup info. The tour guide will also call you or leave you a message through your hotel room the night before tour about pickup time.
