When visiting Wat Arun and Wat Pho in Bangkok, you are entering sacred Buddhist temples, so respectful attire is required.
What to wear: Tops: Shoulders must be covered. Wear T-shirts, blouses, or shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or spaghetti straps). Bottoms: Wear long pants, skirts, or dresses that cover the knees. Capri pants are usually acceptable if they go past the knees. Footwear: Sandals or shoes are fine, but you must remove them before entering temple buildings. Avoid going barefoot—wear socks if needed. Accessories: Hats and sunglasses should be removed when inside temple buildings.
